Insurance Policies
Vanderburgh County provides medical group health insurance and life insurance for elected officials and full-time
County employees. The County Auditor manages these benefits for all eligible County employees with the exception of
the life insurance policies for the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's deputies.
Life Insurance
Effective April 1, 2005, a new Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance policy will be carried through MetLife on all eligible Vanderburgh County employees.
Eligible employees age 64 and under will receive $15,000 of coverage.
Eligible employees age 64 and over will receive $10,000 of coverage.
Cost will be a penny a month.

This also applies for any new employees if enrolled within the first 30 days of being hired. Click here to read over the flyer to determine if you are interested.
These plans will also be offered during Open Enrollment. Click here for the application form. Please contact Cheryl Seger at 812-639-2646 (Cell) if you are interested.
