PERF Guaranteed Fund rate set at 3.5 percent. Members who invest annuity savings account (ASA) funds in PERF's Guaranteed Fund will earn an annual return of 3.5 percent beginning July 1, 2009. Previously, this investment option paid 6 percent. The rate is set annually by PERF's board of trustees.
