Open Enrollment for 2012: Click here to go to the forms to change/ enroll in an insurance plan; then click on the Enrollment/ Change Form link and follow the instructions on sending the form to Jane Laib, Insurance Bookkeeper. Click here for the spreadsheet containing the proposed changes to Vanderburgh County insurance for 2012 as sent out by the County Commissioners on 11/1/11. Representatives from Torian, Hofmann, Dillow, & Flittner will be at tonight's (November 1, 2011) County Commission meeting to explain the proposed changes to the 2012 health insurance plans. The meeting begins at 5:00 PM in room 301 of the Civic Center. The Commissioners will not be voting on the insurance plans during the meeting. If you are unable to attend tonight's meeting and have questions concerning the proposed changes, please plan to meet with the insurance representatives during one of the times listed on the following schedule. The Commissioners approved the insurance contracts at their Special Meeting held on November 3, 2011, Vanderburgh County Open Enrollment runs through November 18, 2011. AFLAC will be offering two new group plans to Vanderburgh County full time employees this October and November. These plans are optional and coverage is guaranteed during the initial enrollment (meaning employee is not subject to prior medical history).
