Open Enrollment for 2012:

Click here to go to the forms to change/ enroll in an insurance plan; then click on the Enrollment/ Change Form link and follow the instructions on sending the form to Jane Laib, Insurance Bookkeeper.

Click here for the spreadsheet containing the proposed changes to Vanderburgh County insurance for 2012 as sent out by the County Commissioners on 11/1/11.

Representatives from Torian, Hofmann, Dillow, & Flittner will be at tonight's (November 1, 2011) County Commission meeting to explain the proposed changes to the 2012 health insurance plans. The meeting begins at 5:00 PM in room 301 of the Civic Center. The Commissioners will not be voting on the insurance plans during the meeting.

If you are unable to attend tonight's meeting and have questions concerning the proposed changes, please plan to meet with the insurance representatives during one of the times listed on the following schedule.

The Commissioners approved the insurance contracts at their Special Meeting held on November 3, 2011, Vanderburgh County Open Enrollment runs through November 18, 2011. Click here to view the Open Enrollment notice sent out to Vanderburgh County Employees.


AFLAC group offering to full time employees.
AFLAC will be offering two new group plans to Vanderburgh County full time employees this October and November. These plans are optional and coverage is guaranteed during the initial enrollment (meaning employee is not subject to prior medical history). This also applies for any new employees if enrolled within the first 30 days of being hired. Click here to read over the flyer to determine if you are interested.

PERF has been renamed to INPRS (Indiana Public Retirement System).
If you have any questions, please call the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS) Customer Service Center at (888) 526-1687 and speak with a Customer Service Representative. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time, except on holidays.   • Deferred Compensation.
    The deferred compensation representative, Dianna Karem-Webb, will be available to meet individually with Vanderburgh County employees on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She will be in Room 318 of the Civic Center from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Click here for more information.   • The Auditor's Office processes payroll and benefits for all Vanderburgh County employees. The purpose of this site is to accommodate county employees by providing general information on payroll and benefits. Also, forms are available that can be filled out on-line and printed. The Auditor's Office hopes to offer a more convenient process and hopefully eliminate unnecessary trips to the Bookkeeping Department.
