RESOLUTION OF THE VANDERBURGH COUNTY COUNCIL AMENDING AN ORDINANCE OF THE VANDERBURGH COUNTY INCOME TAX COUNCIL ESTABLISHING THE PERCENTAGE CREDIT ALLOWED FOR HOMESTEADS FOR 2003 AND CASTING THE VOTES OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL ON SAID ORDINANCE |
President Raben: Okay, we need to take this, I guess, in two motions, correct?
Jeff Ahlers: You’re going to have to pass the 2003 and 2004 in separate motions. And then you might want to make a motion to pass the – I mean, you’re casting your votes by the resolution. This is always an odd process. You’re casting your votes with the resolution. You probably need to go ahead and pass the ordinance, too. Just make a motion – I’d do a motion on 2003 to pass the resolution to cast your votes, and then do a motion to pass the ordinance that’s attached thereto, and then go to 2004 and do the same thing. That might be the easiest way.
President Raben: Motions for each? Okay. Is everybody clear with that? Okay, the chair would now entertain a motion.
Councilmember Wortman: I’ll entertain a motion that we accept it for 2003.
President Raben: Okay, the resolution?
