Vanderburgh County Payroll Explanation of Benefits
Insurance Policies
The County Auditor's Office manages benefits for all County employees. The County offers three health plans,
a dental plan, and a vision plan. To view the current plans and rates use the Insurance Policies link to the left.
Flex Program
A.F.L.A.C. is the current adminstrator for Vanderburgh County's Flex Program. For information on the flex program
and contact numbers, use the link to the left labeled Flex Program.
Deferred Compensation Plan
Vanderburgh County also offers an optional Deferred Compensation Plan which is adminstered by Nationwide
Retirement Solutions. Use the link labeled Deferred Comp to obtain more information and contact numbers.
Retirement Information
Vanderburgh County's mandatory retirement plan is through the State of Indiana and is named Public Employees Retirement Fund
(PERF). Contributions are mandatory for any full time employee. The exceptions are Sheriff's Deputies who contribute
to the Sheriff's Retirement Fund. For more information, use the Retirement link to the left under Benefits.
YMCA Membership
Vanderburgh County contributes $11.00 monthly towards a full time employee's YMCA membership. If you are
interested in more information and the membership rates, use the link lableled YMCA.
