The Spring Tax Deadline will be May 10, 2018. November 13, 2018 will be the Fall Tax Deadline. 2017 pay 2018 tax information is available on the Treasurer's website. Click here to go to the Treasurer's website to view the database for the 2017 taxes payable in 2018. Previous year's taxes will show at the bottom.

2018 pay 2019 Tax Deductions The property tax deduction deadline is January 5, 2019. If you purchased your property by December 31, 2018, your application must be signed and dated prior to December 31, 2018 and filed in the Vanderburgh County Auditor's Office by January 5, 2019. To be eligible for these deductions in 2019, persons must be the owner of their primary residence as of December 31, 2018. If you have previously filed a deduction, you would only need to re-file if you have moved or refinanced. To ensure that you are not paying higher taxes than you should for next year, be sure to file for any deductions that you are entitled.

Transfer Fee (Plat Book Fee) effective July 1, 2016. Pursuant to County Code 3.05.010 and IC 36-2-9-18(d) the Vanderburgh County Auditor shall collect a fee of Five Dollars ($5.00) for each legal description of each parcel contained in the DEED for which the County Auditor makes a real property endorsement. This does not apply to government entities.

2017 Vanderburgh County Tax Sale was held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 9:00 AM in Room 301 of the Civic Center Complex. The tax sale list can be viewed by using the Tax Sale link on the top left Navigation bar and then clicking on the 2017 Tax Sale List.

Vanderburgh County Employee information:

Payroll site for Vanderburgh County employees. The Auditor's Office processes payroll and benefits for all Vanderburgh County employees. The purpose of this site is to accommodate county employees by providing general information on payroll and benefits. Also, forms are available that can be filled out on-line and printed. The site can also be accessed by using the link above labeled County Payroll.
