Change your address on your Property Tax Bill
by email.

Spring Tax Deadline was May 12, 2014.   2013 pay 2014 tax information is available on the Treasurer's website. Click here to go to the Treasurer's website to view the database for the 2013 taxes payable in 2014. Previous year's taxes will show at the bottom. The Fall tax deadline will be November 10, 2014.

2014 pay 2015 Tax Exemptions The property tax exemption deadline is January 5, 2015. If you purchased your property by December 31, 2014, your application must be signed and dated prior to December 31, 2014 and filed in the Vanderburgh County Auditor's Office by January 5, 2015. To be eligible for these deductions in 2015, persons must be the owner of their primary residence as of December 31, 2014. If you have previously filed an exemption, you would only need to re-file if you have moved or refinanced. To ensure that you are not paying higher taxes than you should for next year, be sure to file for any exemptions that you are entitled.

Homestead Verification Form: Due to changes made through legislation, the State of Indiana is requiring all County Auditors to compile specific information on all homestead properties. A pink Homestead Verification Form was mailed out in the 2009 pay 2010 tax bills and also in the 2010 pay 2011 bills. If none was received for the prior years, a final homestead verification form was mailed with the 2011 pay 2012 tax bills.

Failure to return this form may result in loss of your homestead deduction. This form should be filled out by all property owners who have a homestead exemption and mailed to the address below:

Payroll site for Vanderburgh County employees. The Auditor's Office processes payroll and benefits for all Vanderburgh County employees. The purpose of this site is to accommodate county employees by providing general information on payroll and benefits. Also, forms are available that can be filled out on-line and printed. The site can also be accessed by using the link above labeled County Payroll.
