2008 pay 2009 Tax Exemptions
The property tax exemption deadline is now December 31, 2008. To be eligible for these deductions in 2009, persons must be the owner of their primary residence as of December 31,2008.

2007 pay 2008 tax bills will hopefully be mailed by the end of May 2008. According to Indiana State statute, Spring taxes will be due 15 days after they are mailed.

Change your address on your Property Tax Bill by email.

Homestead Rebate checks due to 2007 tax relief provided by the Indiana General Assembly were mailed out on December 20, 2007 and December 21 2007. To be eligible for these rebates, persons must be the owner of their primary residence and have a valid homestead exemption for 2006 taxes paid in 2007. Vanderburgh County Resident information:
Vanderburgh County Animal Control Ordinance was passed by the County Commissioners on 7/24/07.

Free Prescription Drug Discount Cards are available to Vanderburgh County Residents effective April 23, 2007. Click here to go to the Health Department's site for more information.

Property Tax information:
Property Tax Exemption Deadline is December 31, 2008. To be eligible for these deductions in 2009, persons must be the owner of their primary residence as of December 31, 2008. If you have previously filed an exemption, you would only need to re-file if you have moved or refinanced. To ensure that you are not paying higher taxes than you should for next year, be sure to file for any exemptions that you are entitled.
